Construct 14x14 wood board and batten accessory structure in rear corner of lot as depicted in photos submitted with application. Utilize existing concrete pad as zoning setbacks allow. All materials to be wood, except that porch foor may be concrete or synthetic wood product. Windows to be wood true-divided or simulated divided light. Front gabled-roof to be 8/12 pitch covered by corrugated metal roofing, which will cover the shed roof over the porch as well. Central door to be salvaged half-light with wood panel below. Twin garage doors on side of building to each 6-lights above and recessed vertical panels below with the appearance of side opening with black-hinge hardware on each side. Structure to meet Building Code setbacks of 5 feet from side and rear property lines.


4-C-14-HZ Approved as Modified

Construct 20'x36' one-story rear, vinyl-clad addition on slab as indicated by submitted plans. Addition to be flush with easternmost projection and to project two feet from existnig façade on west side. Install wood half-light door on side of house rather than multi-light french doors.

Replace deteriorated original slate roof shingles on main roof of house with Owings Corning TruDefinition Duration 3-tab asphalt shingles with color of "Estate Gray" to match color of existing slate as closely as possible. Fishscale-shaped shingles are not proposed to be duplicated. Remove deteriorated late square chimney stack (for stove) only to below the roof line (cracked brick and motar; leaning) on rear of house.


5-F-14-HZ Approved with conditions

Install 12-foot-wide wooden shed not visible from right-of-way. Add foilage or lattice to base of shed as space allows.
