Level II. Install skylights in outbuilding

Install three square 30"x30" skylights on the south-facing roof slope. The operable, deck-mounted skylights will have a clear, flat pane of glass and a 3"-4" curb that will protrude above the roof plane. The curb will be of a dark neutral color that will blend with the shingles of the garage roof.

Site Info

1-1/2- story frame garage with asphalt-shingled hipped roof and cross gables. Garage is to be ~27' high and ~18'-4" to the average roof height.

1) The garage will be considered a non-contributing structure due to late age.

2) The skylights will not be visible from the street.

3) The skylights will not interfere with historic decorative roof elements.

4) The skylights will not comprise more than 3% of a historic roof surface.
