The applicant is planning a clearly contemporary addition which is sympathetic in design with the original, and which will be in keeping with the tradition of wrap around porches in this and other Victorian-era neighborhoods. The deck is removable without damage to the original structure, and allows the building to adapt to contemporary demands.
