Since the application was filed on August 3, 2015, the applicant has met with the Knox County Code Administration Department and it has been determined that the proposed use will be permitted by right in the I (Industrial) zone. This is contrary to the original zoning ordinance interpretation that was made. The similar use determination, as originally requested, is no longer needed.
