Level I. Standard repair; Level II: Major Structural Repair and Replacement
Doors; Guttering; Roofing; Siding; Windows

Level I: Remove aluminum siding and replace with poplar siding and trim boards, as necessary; reroof; repair fascia and soffits and other trim in kind as necessary; install gutters and downspouts, color clad to match trim of house.

Level II: Replace unoriginal front door with appropriately designed and sized front door (to be wood, with single glass light, plain or leaded to be determined, above paneled lower half; Remove and rebuild rear wall on rear addition, to include French doors; replace unoriginal windows with appropriately sized wood framed one over one windows, using original window openings; install new turned wood porch columns.

FOne story frame with aluminum siding wall covering. Side gable roof with front gable, asphalt shingle roof covering, sawn wood bargeboard. Replacement windows. One story two=-thirds front porch with replacement columns and balustrade, concrete floor. Interior side brick chimney. L-shaped plan. Brick foundation. Projecting square bay on front elevation with shed roof with gablet, sawn wood bargeboard and recessed lower panels.


Original windows were removed prior to designation. One over one windows are appropriate consistent with guidelines (Windows, Pg. 10 and 11). Additions are appropriate in the rear, and the proposed repairs and alterations of the doors to this rear addition will make it more appropriate (New Additions, Pg. 18). The addition of an appropriate front door will also improve the historic character of the structure (Entrances, Pg. 13).
