G. W. Albers Drug Store. Two story brick, elaborate pressed metal cornice with brackets and modillions and raised central arch, rowlock arched second story windows, altered storefront.

The design guidelines call for the bottom of the hanging sign to be at 8-1/2 ffet, which is conflict with the City's sign ordinance, which calls for a height of ten feet. The application is written to allow for a distance between 8-1/2 and 10 feet. Approval of this height will allow the applicant to proceed without the necessity of applying for a variance from the City's sign ordinance. Commission is asked to APPROVE Certificate No. 8603MKT.
