Repair/replace siding, soffit and fascia in kind as necessary; install new retaining wall; replace asphalt shingle roof with asphalt shingles; install storm windows, color-clad; install gutters and downspouts; point chimney, using matching mortar as specified in Preservation Brief No. 2.

Queen Anne Cottage (c.1910)

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables, asphalt shingle roof covering, wood louvered attic vent, partial cornice returns on front gable and hipped dormer. One over one double hung windows. One story front and side wrap around porch with round wood columns with Ionic capitals. Interior offset brick chimney. Stuccoed brick foundation. Transom at front entry. Irregular plan.


This property is the subject of a Community Development-sponsored rehabilitation. As usual, Community Development has assured that their work items are consistent with the Secretary of Interior's Standards and with the adopted design guidelines.
