Queen Anne cottage, c.1910

One-and-one-half-story residence featuring a hipped roof with cross gables extending towards the front (southeast) and side (southwest) elelvations. Roof is clad in asphalt shingles, and house is clad in wood weatherboard siding. Façade (southeast) features a half-length porch, recessed under the primary roof line, beside a projecting front-gable roof massing. A rectangular casement window is centered in the front gable field; windows are two-over-two, double-hung wood sash, with a single-light picture window flanked by one-over-one double-hung wood sash windows on the first bay.


1. The house is a contributing resource to the Old North Knoxville Historic District.

2. The applicant is proposing repair and replacement of existing wood features with wood tongue and groove flooring, wood railing, and a new wood porch column. All work is in concurrence with the Old North Knoxville design guidelines.
