Enclose rear porch, with has balustrade of siding, extending dimension 5' to rear, with large windows that primarily fill in screened space, replacing brackets, reusing window on side; siding will match existing siding on house. Construct new storage building, 12' x 12', to rear of lot, with board & batten appearance, with pitched roof and several windows so that it blends with existing house. DESIGN OF STORAGE BUILDING MODIFIED: poplar lap siding, shingles on gables, roof pitvch and door and window trim to match house. Date extended to 3/10/2005.

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering, imbricatred shingles in gables. Cross gabled roof with brackets, wood louvered attic vents and asphalt shingle roof covering. Second story front balcony with singled walls and sawn wood balustrade. One over one double hung windows. One story full front porch with square shingled columns and shingled balustrade. Two interior offset central brick chimneys. Brick foundation and brick buttresses at front steps. Transom and sidelights at front entry. Rectangular plan.


Adopted Fourth & Gill Design Guidelines provide that additions should be limited in size and scale and located to the rear of existing historic buildings, with compatible design. In addition, the guidelines provide that outbuildings resembling work buildings or simple one story garages are appropriate to the district.
