Site Info

Eastlake (c.1890)

Two-story frame residence with weatherboard exterior. Cross gable roof clad in standing seam metal, with sawn wood barge board and sawn wood round attic vent. Two-over-two, double-hung windows. One-story full front porch with square wood columns and engaged pilasters, and sawn wood brackets at cornice and one column. Stuccoed brick foundation. Rear elevation with side-gable roof offset from front porch, and one-story shed roof enclosed rear porch.

The proposed roof replacement will match the existing roof in color, pitch, and shape. The galvalume panels are an appropriate replacement for standing seam metal, especially when the standing-seam metal is cost prohibitive.
