Extend rear wall (not visible from Deaderick, and not original to structure) to add intrior space. Roof to be continuation of existing shed roof, with walls of 4" lap wood siding, wood casement windows consistent with existing windows.

One story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables, asphalt shingle covering, decorative wood trimmed panels and bargeboard in front gable end, sawn wood attic vent. Double hung one over one and two over two windows. One story two-thirds front porch with turned wood columns, arched frieze and sawn wood balustrade. Three interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Projecting rectangular bay with sawn wood panels below windows on front elevation. George Barber design.


Commission is asked to RATIFY Certificate No. 61103MEC. Rear wall that will be replaced in the course of this addition, although old, is not original to the building. Addition will add needed space to house, making it more liveable and marketable; exterior appearance will be consistent with house's original historic architecture.
