Folk Victorian with Craftsman influence (c.1890)

Two story frame with weatherboard siding. Cross gable roof with asphalt shingle covering. Two over two and one over one double hung windows. One story gable roofed front porch with splayed wood posts on brick piers, pierced brick balustrade, brick buttresses at front steps (removed to prepare for replacement). Stuccoed brick foundation. Transom and sidelights at front entry. Irregular plan.


All of the work to the front porch included with this application was previously submitted and approved under Certificate No. 410034&G, and represents a carefully researched reconstruction of the original front porch as required in the adopted 4th & Gill design guidelines (pg. 12, Porches, #1). The adopted design guidelines also recommend the reuse of original windows (pg. 11, Windows, #2).
