The guidelines for Fort Sanders propose insets to replicate the feel of individual housing units. This proposal does not contain the insets, but does contain multiple gables, porches and balconies, and respects the recommended 25' setback from Laurel. Because of the distance from Laurel, and the details on the front façade, approval is recommended. The insets would not be helpful in providing the rhythm of individual units.
