APPROVE Certificate No. 42910ONK. Proposed attic dormer windows will return original appearance to façade; rear dormer will provide extra light to interior attic space, will be in keeping architecturally, and will not be visible from Oklahoma.

Replace makeshift windows now in three dormers with wood, single light, casement windows, without alteration to the oroginal size of the opening.

Add rear dormer to match front dormer in size and shape (dormer in rear will not be visible from Oklahoma).

Queen Anne Cottage (c.1910)

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Steeply pitched hip roof with offset gable, dormer window in gable and additional front and side dormers, and asphalt shingle covering. Wood fishscale shingles on gable. Double hung three over one windows with cottage window. One story three-quarter front porch with square wood posts with truncated wood capitals. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Replacement glass in dormers. Stuccoed foundation. Irregular plan. Recessed transom and sidelights at front entry.


The adopted design guidelines call for complex roof shapes including features such as dormers where appropriate (pg. 13, #1) and prohibit the addition of dormers only on roofs that are visible from the street (pg. 14, #6).
