Folk Victorian with Gothic influence (c.1890)

Two story frame with artificial siding. Cross gable roof with asphalt shingle roof covering. Two over two and one over one double hung windows. One story gable roofed front porch with splayed wood posts on brick piers, pierced brick balustrade, brick buttresses at front steps. Brick foundation. Transom at front entry. Rectangular plan.

This house was substantially altered in the 1930's and again in the last twenty years by the addition of artificial siding. The current owners are restoring the house to single family use, and, after extensive research and careful examination of shadow lines and artifacts found in the basement and attic, have arrived at a design for the front porch and the balustrade that will closely follow the original design, returning the house to its Gothic stylistic influence.
