Knoxville's Codes Enforcement department requested a demolition order for these two buildings from the Better Building Board Febuary 21, 2002. Codes officials are concerned that these buildings cannot be salvaged, and if Mr. Northcutt does not make substantial progress in working on them, a demolition order will probably be issued. Mr. Northcutt has received several Certificates of Appropriateness for their rehabilitation, and has received a letter authorized by you about a year ago, requesting that he accelerate his efforts on these buildings and two other houses he owns in Old North Knoxville at 125 E. Oklahoma and 232 E. Scott.
Commission is asked to ratify Certificate No. 22802ONK.
