Staff Recommendation
APPROVE the Knoxville One Year Plan, 2005 Update
Pursuant to the requirements of the Knoxville City Charter, the MPC staff has completed the annual update of the Knoxville One Year Plan: 2005 Update. The plan document is included separately with your agenda package. Highlights of the proposed changes to the One Year Plan included the following:

? A change that would allow individual One Year Plan amendments to be considered on a monthly basis, rather than every three months. This would make the City's process consistent with the county's process, which allows monthly consideration of required minor sector plan amendments to be considered every month.
? Three land use designation changes to bring portions of the One Year Plan into conformity with either the appropriate Sector Plan, or existing land use.
? Twelve changes resulting from annexations that have occurred since last year's plan update.
? Descriptions of 29 individual quarterly amendments that were approved during the last twelve months.

Four workshops were held during the month of February to give the general public the opportunity to comment on the proposed changes. If you have any questions, please let me know.
