On enclosed rear porch, remove two aluminum windows and replace with one double hung wood window; repair wood siding in kind as necessary; install removeable screening on front porch, back of roof shadow line, retaining the appearance of the porch columns and rail.

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables, gabled dormer and asphalt hsingle roof covering. Applied sawn wood work in pediment at front dormer and front gable, sawn wood bargeboard and arched attic window with applied lintel. Double hung one over one windows. One story wrap around front nad side porch with square wood columns and sawn wood balustrade. Three interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Bay window on south elevation.


The rear porch of this house was enclosed c. 1960, and aluminum windows were installed. The proposed modification will return a wood double hung window to the rear of the house, and repair existing siding in kind. The proposed screened front porch will not block the primary entrance, will be reversible, and will sit back of the porch column and railings and the roof overhang, so that shadow lines are preserved.
