Level I: Remove artificial siding, repair clapboard as necessary; remove added side porch.Level II: Remove rear brick flue; replace wood one over one double hung windows with wood double hung windows, same size as originals; add 10'x10' deck at rear of house, approximately 36" high, not visible from street, with 2"x2" balusters on 4-5" centers, set in to bottom rail; replace unoriginal front entry door with half-view door, sidelights (same glass) and transom.
One and one-half story frame with aluminum siding wall covering. Cross gable roof with asphalt shingle roof covering. Projecting top section of front gable supported by wood scroll brackets and imbricated shingles; lower section of front gable, also shingled, with Palladian-like window with calmes in top and bottom sashes of outer windows and central one over one window topped with louvered vent. One story full front porch with round wood columns with Ionic capitals and turned wood balustrade with central opening to porch with concrete stairs and brick buttresses. Added one story added side porch with aluminum columns an balustrade, under gable roof. Two brick chimneys, both interior side, with brick corbelling. Rear brick flue. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Transom and sidelights at front entry have been covered.
Removing the added side porch will emphasize the house's original formal entry. Wood windows are deteriorated and will be replaced in kind.
