Install new wood double hung one over one windows; install reclaimed paneled wood doors (front and side); repair existing front porch railing in kind; repair exterior side fire stairs; repair roof; repair damaged wood in kind; repair, if possible, or replace with 4" lap wood siding if necesssary, the applied artificial siding at the rear first story; install wood door to basement; install lights; install gutters; repair stuccoed foundation with parge coat meeting standards of Preservation Brief No. 2; replace one front door opening and holes created by wall unit air conditioners with 4: lap wood siding, as necessary; install HVAC exterior units at rear side or front; remove mail center, if possible.

One story three-quarter front porch with dentil molding, triple round wood posts on shingled piers with Ionic capitals nad sawn wood balustrade. Projecting bay on east elevation. This house has been condemned and vacant for several years, while the owner looked for ways to rehabilitate it. The changes he is proposing, while they do not result in an exterior restoration, are consistent with the adopted design guidelines. The owner intends to reduce the density, and to repair features as necessary. In some cases, windows and other details will be returned to their original size and added interior walls will also be removed.
