Modification to Certificate No. 925004&G to 1) replace front aluminum windows with vinyl cald wood to replicate original shape and size of openings (original windows were removed c.1950); 2) replace aluminum windows on sides and rear elevations with new aluminum windows, not visible from the street; 3) install storm windows.
One story frame with artificial siding and brick veneer wall covering on front elevation added when other alterations were made. One over one double hung windows. Side gabled roof with asphalt shingle roof covering. One exterior front (added) and one interior offset brick chimney. Brick foundation. Rectangular plan.
The original windows were removed many years ago, and replaced with aluminum windows. The applicant cannot afford to replace all of them with wood, and even if the applicant could afford to do that, the Commission would not, with the records available to it, be able to determine exactly what the original windows were.
