Replace existing wrought iron porch columns with wood, round, columns and porch railing with sawn wood 2x2 balusters set in top and bottom rails on 4-5" centers; remove enclosed portion of side wrap around porch, returning window to door as in original plans..

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gables, asphalt shingle covering. One story wrap around front and side porch, partially enclosed and with replacement columns of wrought iron on front porch. Side porch has spindle work balustrade and square wood columns with Doric capitals. Projecting bay. Cornice with returns. Cantilevered balcony on west elevation with spool work balustrade. Double hung one over one windows. Leaded, beveled glass sidelights and upper sash of front cottage window. One interior offset brick chimney. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Extensive additions at rear and on south elevation.

The owner has secured another Certificate to begin exterior repair, and in the course of that work, determined that it was desirable to remove a partial enclosure of a wrap around front and side porch, and return the porch to one of its historical iterations.
