Exterior repair to elevations as required; add new window openings on north elevation; repair replace roof structure as required; replace flat roof. Proposed north elevation added windows and access as shown on plans submitted 11/6/03 with four horizontal windows with paired sashes on rear of second and third stories and single window on west end; ground floor access at eastern third of building of single pane door with transom and side panel and two additional paired vertical windows with transom division, single window on west of north elevation with transom division. NOTE: Modification added by HZC to approve all submitted elements EXCEPT DOOR OPENING in north elevation, which is not approved.

Vernacular Commercial (c.1925

Vogue Building. Three story, two bay brick commercial building with simple terra cotta detailing, c.1960 storefront. Metal casement windows on upper stories. Inset terra cotta pilasters diving bays on second and third stories. Flat roof with parapet on front elevation. Rectangular plan. Elaborate pressed metal storefront cornice removed c.1990. North elevation of building shows brick surface and was constructed as party wall of building that was demolished c.1960.


Addition of window and door openings on north elevation renders upper floors of building useable, while restoration of front façade and roof is consistent with terms of adopted design guidelines for Market Square. NOTE: Modification added by HZC to approve all submitted elements EXCEPT DOOR OPENING in north elevation, which is not approved.
