The staff recommends that MPC determine that RV storage is a permitted use in the CA zone.Staff has talked with the gentleman that proposes to operate the RV storage facility. His business plan calls for a combination of indoor and outdoor storage alternatives. All vehicles will be parked by and returned the owner by a valet. Only very minor service would be provided. Employees will be available on a 24 hour-a-day basis to store or retrieve the vehicle.
The CA (General Business) permits of other uses that are similar in character to the business as described. It permits auto and truck sales. Additionally, outdoor staoarge of equipment is permitted if the site is screened with an opaque fence.
