Site Info

Queen Anne Cottage with Colonial Revival entry. (c.1910; c.1920).

Steeply pitched hip roof with gables and asphalt shingle wall covering, sawn wood attic vent. Double hung three over one windows. Gabled portico with exposed rafters, square wood posts on wood piers. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Gabled portico with exposed rafters, square wood posts on wood piers. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Rectangular plan.

This building was changed a great deal in the years prior to designation, and has been poorly maintained since. It has recently sold to a developer who intends to bring the building in conformance with housing codes and sell it to an owner/occupant. The side porch/deck will cover an excavated site on the south side of the house that was formerly a garage, removing a hazard. A railing with turned spindles would surround the deck.
