One story wrap around front and side porch with round fluted wood columns with Scamozzi capitals (with several missing). Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Mr. McCoy is carefully handcrafting and reproducing the missing details from his home. He has been remiss in not filing for a Certificate of Appropriateness, but the work he has completed and is planning on his home, both interior and exterior, is well done. The replacement column capitals are not intended as permanent replacements, but are instead a temporary measure to prevent water damage to the columns until he can fabricate new capitals. The spindles to replace the second story balustrade are exact replicas of the original spindels, and the posts that will join the balustrade are also replicas.
