FOR 10/1/03 ONLY: Reroof (on emergency basis; currently leaks are damaging interior. FOR 10//16/03 - Repair or replace front porch ceiling with beadboard; repair soffits; repair front porch floor with tongue and groove flooring if repairs are necessary; replace current non-original columns with turned columns (6"x6"); install low balustrade resembling balustrade on next door house. (NOTE: Photographic documentation indicates that balustrade was present 70 to 80 years ago.)

One story two-thirds front porch with round columns with Doric capitals. Interior offset brick chimney. Brick foundation. Irregular plan.

Proposed work meets adopted design guidelines. Commission is asked to RATIFY Certificate 10103ONK issued for emergency roofing. Commission is asked to APPROVE Certificate No. 10103ONK for remainder of items included in application: for repair of porch ceiling and floor; replacement of unoriginal round columns with turned 6"x6" columns; and installation of balustrade to match balustrade shown on photographic documentation.
