Remove existing late-added chimney stack from ground up on south side of house and repair roof where chimney protruded with matching shingles. Repair siding where chimney was removed with matching siding.
(c. 1905) Two-story frame with artficial siding. Square plan with side gable roof with gable dormer, asphalt shingle roof covering, and bracketed eaves. Exterior end brick chimney.
The chimney has been partially removed which reveals that it was constructed against pre-existing wood siding. It is a later addition and appears to date from the 1930s or 1940s. Its square section from the ground up and exposed metal standpipe indicates that it was a flue chimney rather than a fireplace chimney.
