Guttering; Roofing; Other: Construct 18-24# deep balcony at rear

Replace 4" lap poplar siding that has been removed at rear and north elevation with new 4" poplar siding; install gutters where missing; add small balcony 18-24" deep on rear elevation at second story, where patio doors have been installed. Balcony to be designed in keeping with original George Barber design.

One and one-half story frame with weatherboard wall covering. Hip roof with lower cross gable, gabled front dormers and jerkin-head gable at rear. Sawn wood bargeboard with pendant, asphalt shingle roof covering. Nine light and six light windows in gables, one over one double hung windows for remainder. One story front and side wrap around porch with bellcast porch roof, curved ornamentl hall timbering in front gable, turne wood porch columns, front facing brackets with applied sunburst design, with brackets creating segmental arches. Two interior offset brick chimneys. Brick foundation. Irregular plan. Reported design by George Barber.


Certificate was issued on December 20, 1999; house has new owner who is concerned about completing work as soon as possible since building was not weather-tight.
